So today since I'm off from work I got the entire day to waste..
I was reading 50 shades of grey until my iPad died...hmmm...
So I decided to hang around the nearest most convenient mall to me, midvalley!
Oh gosh I think I'm there almost every week! Lol!
Once arrived I settled some bills and went for a movie! Hehe
It's been ages since I watched a movie! Bought my ticket for Big hero 6!
And there goes my phone vibrating away! "Vrr..vrr..vrr..."
"Hello?" Surprised.
"Hoi, so lonely watching movie alone?? Haha I know you're buying tickets for the show...you're standing behind the fat uncle in beige shirt right?!"
*omg!* (stares around puzzled)
"Where the hell are you?? Haha stalk me arr??"
So who's the one behind the call? It's poh ying!!
Gosh! It's been like a million years since I seen her!
As usual beside her is her retarded boyfriend haha they were sitting all the way up there in mid!
It's funny cause later we realized we're watching the same movie same time!
Small world huh? XD
So after the movie we did some catching up at the magnum cafe!
Recently overpopulated newly opened cafe which specializes in magnum ice creams n desserts..
Apparently you customize your ice cream which ever way you want with many kinds of toppings of your hearts desire ;) Yums? We'll see about that!
We didn't line up as long as people said they did? (2hrs apparently)
I guess cause it was a weekday..
Anyways we got our seats in a jiffy and the interior of the cafe was comfy and fancy..
Not bad really.. For an ice cream shop...
So we settled down and ordered our food..
I ordered some hot food as I was starving! Didn't have any meals other thn popcorn hehe
So I got the fritto miisto (fried onion rings, shishamo fish, squid, shrimps with mustard sauce)
And we shared the desserts! 2 make my magnums and a Magnum Triffle!

This is the magnum Triffle... It costs about rm25 for this.
And what can I say?
It's not bad..creative and something different from the everyday desserts
It has some sugar biscuits at the bottom covered with what I think is yogurt and chocolate..some strawberries and of course..how can we miss the magnum lol..
Taste wise..both of them didn't like it but I think the taste was okay for me..some sweetness + sourness mixed together..
I'll rate it a 6/10 for my likings..it was a little too sweet tho..

This I'll rate it a 5/10
The taste is just ordinary fried food..nothing special..it's crispy no doubt..
But nothing fantastic about it..sauce is just mustard..so it's not really worth paying rm19 for this but just for the sake of my grumbling stomach!
Overall the service was great..attentive waiters..each table are given a jar of water and it is replaced by the waiters frequently..it's really good service..I guess you pay for what you get! Haha
Anyways to conclude this place is somewhere I rather just come once and never back..
To me price wise is a bit over the top..but I guess I could be back for the customize ice cream once in a blue moon xD it costs around rm9.90 per stick.
This is just my personal preference and well I believe everyone has their own saying in this..
Some might like it and some might not! So yeah..go ahead and make your way there to give it a try ;)
Oh yeah..it was really good to be able to catch up with the darling!
