The Worm challenge at Sibu!

Hey guys! So around last month I had a flight to Sibu! Gosh..the place where we hate to have layovers!
Well known to be haunted and boring cause there's nothing much to do there..
Anyways..we had an awesome set! Cool people! We were strolling in the morning Sibu market when we stumbled on to this lady selling sago worms :D and I decided to try it! Surprisingly my supervisor decided to try it with me haha well the others just got disgusted .
We payed around rm20 for this basket of worms..there were 20 worms in a basket..
But it was covered in mud and wood shavings so we decided to buy it back to the hotel, wash it and feast!

Amazed at it haha..first time touching such a worm!
Of course we can't leave without a picture with the worms ;)

Anyways we just continued walking around the market...and saw this!!
They sell chickens wrapped in newspapers?! And placed the live ones beside the dead ones..how sick is that?! Mental torture for the poor chickens...haha but it's great I get to see so many things happening around the world..good eye opener!

We had some food at the food court before heading back to our hotel with our new pets..
That is about to be chewed and swallowed into our bellies! Somehow someone decided to play poker and losers had to eat one..hAha..fantastic idea!!

Well we did so..and it was so funny how everyone reacted! Videos are exquisite so I won't be uploading it haha..well it was an enjoyable day..

But by dinner I had a really strange allergic reaction? It started off when I took a hot shower and I came out as per normal..but when I lay on my bed I started feeling very heated up..then I started itching and the next thing I know was that I was swelling up..during dinner I was pretty annoyed..then I bought some anti septic powder and powdered myself from top to bottom..luckily the swelling went away when I woke up the next day! Haha wasn't sick at all..cause maybe I drank green tea to wash out the gooey wormy slime in me!

Well nevertheless, it was another great adventure! Another story to tell in my journey of life hehe

Back to square one :)

Finally!! 2weeks training is OVER!
Officially an Airbus crew woohoo!
Damn I miss flying...felt so bored and alone on ground..
Got fat too!! And I miss the GLOBE!!
I miss the smell of smelly aircraft and dirty galleys!!
I'm so glad I'm back on track tomorrow!

Also have to get my bikini body back for my little getaway to perhentian island on my bday!!
Going to that place is like a serious out of the city thing...no hair dryers or electric kettles cause the island is using a generator for power supply :x
Our room only has a fan...and might not have phone lines thr...yikes...
Well at least they have wifi at the cafe...won't die wan lah!
We need this once awhile..too much technologies in our everyday life..we need to take a break n cut down the tv and computers! Mother Nature here I come <3

Hmm...I'm gonna miss my baby boo when I start working...
He's the only thing that will hold me back from my future...but I guess love makes u do crazy things..
And I do hope it's worth it!

Wish me luck for my training flight on Friday! Hope I won't get tongue slashed by the seniors...oh I hope I will get nice kind seniors who will teach me anything I need to know *prays*
Will update soon! Goodnight!

What is love?

The question everyone is Always wondering...
There's no concrete explanation for it..
And people do the weirdest things for love...
Is there anything to overcome this mind playing games?
Hmm...

Well for the third time..
He steps right in and I melted right away..
Though my mind says no it won't work out and we r not right for each other..
We r from two different worlds..and yet...
The moments he pleads for my love again..all I did was throwing everything I had in my hand and run back to his arms..
Gosh so foolish I could get sometimes..
And I am regretting it now..

Somehow it isn't as it is before..well ya we have our own lives now...I'm working and he's studying..
And we don't really have time like we used to...in a week we only see each other once..
And when I start flying again who knows how many times we will meet up?
And since he is so caught up in studies, even texts are short..just updating our whereabout and asking what we're doing...and ending the sentence with "love you" it gets dull and boring everyday..love you becomes a word..just a word with no meaning at all...

This made me wonder..is love like this? Is being in a relationship like this?
I don't feel this way before..but I do now...I wonder how about you guys? I meant the working couples?
Do you guys date like this too? Short simple texts...not more then an hour phone calls...simple dinner dates then you go home n do your own things,...and before bed you just say I'm going to bed goodnight? Is it just me or this is how it works?

I used to imagine things like texts are sweet..phone calls are never ending..he just enlightens me when I am down to earth...cheers me up with flowery jokes..but what I'm feeling now it's like...
I'm single and he's just there sometimes...and when he sleeps he doesn't answer his phone?
So I'm wondering...I'm always thinking about this question...what if one day I had an emergency in the middle of the night and he is not answering his phone? Is he going to be there when I need him? Which leads to is this the guy for me? And is this who I want to be with?
I'm just questioning myself every single day....and it came to the point where there was no answer and I just ignored it at the end...

Is there anyone out there who could tell and teach me what to do? Or I should just play dumb and let things go with the flow? I guess I seriously need a therapist :(

Anyone with answers or advises..I wish you could tell me...just mail me your preferences and thoughts will ya? Mail me here at gohyikt@hotmail.com

Lunch date @ Franco's 1U

Heh...it's been awhile and my blog is starting to get dusty again..
This is a super old old post which I was suppose to blog since ages ago..but just felt lazy xD
Well finally I had time!
Anyways....went to 1U with my Korean chingu to try out this place called miam miam..
But well the shop changed into Franco now..
Either ways we were here already so went in to try Franco !

The shop was still in the making back then and the menu had not much choices..
So we ordered the thumbs up French toast!
Well I use to see people eat this when they go to miam miam..
Now I'm trying it yay!
I really love it...maybe cs I like sweet honey and whip cream <3

Well that was dessert haha...
For the main course I had squid ink spaghetti!
Hmm..it was not bad..nothing fancy about it..just squid and spaghetti...

While shi Wei had the carbonara pasta...if not mistaken...
It was good too :)

And then our stomachs got greedy and decided to order another dessert!
Forgot to what this is called..but what I recall was...yogurt with fruits and there were cubes of I don't really know what at the bottom..it was sweet with a mirangue kind of texture..
Overall it was sweet..so if u like sugar then feel free to try it!

Have to say it was a good catchup before she head back to Korea..
And will await our next date soon!
Miss ya fatty! :*

Overall..well if you're just looking for a comfy cafe to have lunch in..feel free to step into Franco's ..
The food doesn't taste bad..good service and nice place to just chill with your friends during lunch..
The only thing I would hope for is to have more choices in their menu! Or maybe they do now xD
I haven't been there for a while since I'm always busy working!
Toodles peeps!

Supper @ Jalan sayur, pudu

One of my favorite place to have supper in KL city is Jalan Sayur at pudu!
Tourists looking for Chinese local food should hop right over here..it's famous for many food!!
So I had the duck egg fried tang hoon noodles that day :) it was yummilicious!!

And of course my favorite  pork inerts soup! Yumsss..*drooling*
Was craving for this that day so I decided to drag my parents along with me for supper!

We also had the sotong and kangkung with sweet sauce..
Also another dish that is recommended to try!

There are others like the famous fried carrot cakes or friend chicken..it's yummy!
Or the curry Chee cheong fun with pork skin or the famous pork noodles or porridge! Oohs! I miss it now :D
So to my dear readers it's good to go n try!
For foreigners , give it a shot!

Christmas dinner 2014

Throwback Christmas dinner 2014!!
Obviously another lay back post...
Whoopsies
Well anyways..this dinner was a treat by my brother!
He brought us to a Japanese restaurant called Robata monkey at jaya one!

The moment we step in it felt like those small Japanese shops by the roadside in Japan kind of feeling..
Haha some serious Japanese shit going on here!
Well...they use the robatayaki technique in Japanese cuisine which is like they grill their fish on an open sandpit in front of their customers...
They even import their fishes and other seafoods from Japan!
What I saw was the display of the super big tuna head at the entrance! And apparently their fresh seafood arrived on Thursday if not mistaken ...
So for seafood lovers, it's recommended to come here and check it out!

So we had oysters for starters...
Tho it's not as big as the oysters I had in Kuching before..
But it was indeed fresh and slurrpyyyy *slurps*

Next we ordered their tuna sashimi which was damn good..
So fresh!! Om nom nom!
Also ordered another plate of sashimi but this was mixed seafood...not just the tuna..
It was equally yummy!!

And of course we need some vege in our meal for a balance diet right? Hehe
So we had this fried vegetables...lettuce and carrots I think..
Sry I don't remember much...it was last Christmas..and I'm just sharing my experience here ..
Excuse me for my super late update cs I'm busy flying high T.T
Anyways back to the food..it was crispy..not too salty either! The ones I had at other places was sometimes too salty! Especially the dipping sauce! This one was just nice! We ordered a second plate too!

Next was the grilled squid! Yum yum!
Was chewy and juicy unlike those grilled squids which are dried and hard...
I miss this place already even just writing about it makes me hungry!!

Then we had this sushi..
I think it was soft shell crab and mangoes or was it avocados?
X( so damn sorry I can't remember....
It was long ago...
But no doubt it was good!

Then my bro ordered this collarbone of a fish...tuna I think x)
The outer part was crispy and the meat was so fresh..
Still can taste the ocean!

We tried this mackerel fish too! I read other blogs which highly recommended this too!
As long as it's fish here..just eat it haha it's all good I'm sure!

And lastLy we had dessert!
Ordered their cheesecake all four flavours!
Oreo,mango,strawberry and chocolate!
My fav cake is always cheesecake! So i liked it!!
Creamy texture and so damn cheesy!
Like like!

So overall this restaurant is awesome!!
Would definately be back if I wasn't so busy..haih...
Enjoy it peeps!!
And again I apologize for the shitty update.... X.x
Please just google it and read the other peoples very very awesome post about this place...
Byes!

Snooping around Suvarnabhumi airport!

Another day has gone by by just flying to Bangkok on a regular Sunday..
It was a very tiring flight as there were only 4crew on a full flight in a 738..gosh..this company is really draining our bloods out!
By the time we arrived none of the crews have the energy to go out..so I decided to explore alone..
Unfortunately the time I wanted to go to the city, the express train was down only able to go to the next station..the entire airport was jam packed with foreigners trying to catch the taxi or the train that only stops at the next station...I was so lazy to wait in line as there were too too many peepo! So I decided to just walk around the hotel, discover the facilities and discover the airport!

Novotel at suvarnabhumi airport is really a nice n convenient hotel to stay in..with full access to underground train to the city...with shops around the hotel to eat or even the room service is just as good. There's a very nice swimming pool and gym..also spa services..but for massages I recommend you to go to the town better...it's a little pricy over at the hotel..
The entire design of the hotel is really pretty and comfortable!

You can even enjoy the view of the airport!

So after my snooping around I discovered a low cost food court at the ground floor of the airport..
So I decided to have my dinner there!
I tried this beef noodles..similar to boat noodles..it was delicious!!
Om nom nom!

Then I saw on the menu and the chicken liver salad captured my curiousity
So I decided to try!
Not bad!
Then of course it was dessert!
I ordered this ice shavings with longan and sea coconut!
It was nice too!
Over all the food there was good!
Many other variety of food they have including halal food too!
Just that it was lacking the original tomyum soup!

So I went back to my room and satisfied my cravings!
Love their tomyum soup so much!

So to end this simple day...
Of course! A selfie teehee!
Goonaiii peeps!

Journey through Hyderabad!

So finally I got my Hyderabad layover!
Arrived around midnight..
Hotel we stayed at wa the Marriott hotel..
Was awesome!
Very Indian feel haha..

Just a little peek around the rooms and hotel!

Had free breakfast the next day!
Ordered eggs Benedict and also ate other stuffs on the buffet table..
It was okay but I prefer Bombay breakfast!

Then after breakfast we decided to use the complimentary shuttle to explore Hyderabad...
We payed the driver a little bit more so he could bring us a little further ;)

And ootd picture!!
So we headed to charminar first..
Many street stalls like a bazaar..many pretty shoes n sari's for sale
Apparently sari's here are cheap!
Planning to get one on my next trip back haha..
So here's the city of pearls!
Another eye opening destination!
We stopped by charminar for a little while just for the photos then we headed back on the road..
We asked the driver to take us to Golconda fort which is an hour drive from our hotel..so we were kinda in a rush..plus..it was peak hour so there's of course a jam ;|

The sweet rides in India..they have tuk tuk too! But I don't think it's call tuk tuk there lol
On the way there...this building caught our eye from a distance..so the driver took us there to have a look..and guess what? It was a hospital! :o
Damn nice for a hospital! Goodness lol..
Their building structures in Hyderabad are so unique and ancient xD
Who'd knew such a building is a hospital!

After the photos we continued our 1 hour journey to the famous Golconda fort!
The view from down below :) seems small? Nope..it's massive!
We didn't go in tho...it was so crowded and need to pay like 100rupees to go in..not much but we decided not to go in that day..but I will definately go during my next trip there!

Then we proceeded to the nearby attraction called the Qutub Shahi!
It's the tomb for the Kings n queens and their families..
More like a mini Taj Mahal in Hyderabad ! :)

Payed like 10rupees for entrance and 20rupees for the car to go in =_=
Anyways...here's the photos we took!

This was the prince's tomb..
And below is the soldiers

Oh ya..one tip, once you enter the entrance there's a guy who offers to show u around..it's as tho it comes with the ticket...ticket n free explanation..sounds good? Not much..
At the end he made us pay him 200rupees! When we didn't even asked for a tour guide..humph!
So now we know...don't accept offers if we didn't ask for it!
It's not much yes...but it's like cheating us in a way cause we didn't know we had to pay for his explanation! x( boo!

Some dark dusty path which leads to I don't know where..rather spooky!
Below are some of the artistic interiors...these tombs are here for like decades ago!

And this was the Kings tomb! All white and beautiful!
Almost similar to Taj Mahal right? Haha

After sight seeing, we ordered take aways at Bahars briyani!
Was nicely packed..comes with yogurt n curry sauce!
Yummy!,
And again the portion was humongous !
4 of us ladies..we bought 2packets one lamb one chicken..
Yet we didn't even finish half of both packets..it's seriously too much!!
It's amazing how people there eat such a big portion n yet remain so skinny!! (The men there)

We had it in Cheryl's room! Blasts some Taylor swift mash up n eat briyani..
Girls hang out times would be like this x)
And of course the selfies haha

Oh yeah...forgot to mention I was here on New Year's Eve !
So we didn't get to countdown in Malaysia...and in Hyderabad it wasn't really happening..
While it was 12am in Hyderabad we were stuck in the airport cause our aircraft delayed..we were there for 2hours straight! Luckily we were invited to chill in the plaza Lounge while waiting...had some drinks and guess what? There was a little celebration by the airport staff there n they gathered everyone in the lounge to have some cake :) better then nothing right?
At least I had cake and bonded with some passengers that joined the little celebration...
Sweet n simple new year!

So wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015!
May it be a great and life changing year for everyone!
